Abstract
: Received 8 December 2023 Accepted 16 February 2024 Available online 18 February 2024 Aiming at the autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) recovery and docking process, which is easily affected by external disturbances and its own factors, the autonomous underwater recovery and docking technology of AUV has become a research hotspot at home and abroad. This paper firstly cites the underwater docking systems of AUV in various countries and their uses, and summarizes the recovery and docking modes of AUV according to two major aspects: surface docking and underwater docking. Subsequently, the key technology of AUV recovery is analyzed. Finally, the difficulties in the recovery and docking of AUV are discussed, including the external interference factors, the stability of operation control, and the accuracy of positioning and navigation. The research results of AUV underwater recovery and docking technology in recent years are summarized, and the future development direction is prospected.
