Abstract

This paper investigates the global stabilization problem based on bounded sampled-data controllers for a class of third-order nonlinear system. By designing a bounded sampled-data controller, the closed-loop system is transformed into a continuous-time system within the sampling period. Thus using controller design and stability analysis methods for continuous-time systems to prove that the continuous time system is globally asymptotically stable both under an unbounded controller and a bounded controller. Finally, the validity of the conclusions obtained in this paper is verified through numerical examples.
