Climbing Pipe and Gripper Control Mechanisms for Bionic Snake Robots in Constrained Environments
Abstract
This paper investigates climbing pipe and gripper control mechanisms for bionic snake robots operating in constrained environments. The proposed design integrates serpentine locomotion principles with adaptive gripping strategies to enable stable navigation and manipulation in narrow, complex spaces such as pipelines and industrial ducts, with experimental validation demonstrating robust performance under various constraint conditions.
